Rain laps at Sebring and unmuffled motors

bright laser headlights and glowing brake rotors

really long race laps around the 'Ring

these are a few of my favorite things

Green flags at Indy and cold milk showers

running flat out at LeMans for hours and hours

LMP's that fly  'cause they lost a wing

these are a few of my favorite things

When the slicks bite, when the revs zing

when F1 cars zig and then zag

I simply enjoy my favorite things

and for racing, I'm glad.

Poker with friends when “all-in” the same room
Family visits in person, not Zoom
How did the world ever end up like this
These are a few of the things that I miss

When the dog bites
When the murder hornet stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember the things that I miss
And that’s why I feel so bad!
