Well, the Jeep finally sold- but unfortunately the 328 that I had been keeping my eye on for some time is no longer showing up on Craigslist. Given the age of the listing I half think it wasn't sold but just dropped off due to age... and unfortunately I didn't think to write down the contact number in the listing. 
There are a couple of others in the general area in the price range I was looking at:
The 328 obviously has some concerns given the radiator, and I've emailed the seller to get more info on what happened with that and if the car overheated as a result.
Neither unfortunately is the blue that SWMBO really liked- but paint/plastidip is relatively cheap...
