So what do we think of the Falken Eurowinter hs449? I've never used this tire before myself but I was hoping someone on the board has had experience with it and can give an opinion. It seems to be rather well thought of by European users.

What sort of road conditions do you expect to see?
From Dec through Feb, mostly 20s to 40s and dry, wet, and the occasional Northeast Oklahoma ice and snow.
I'm going to assume that The Hive has little experience with this particular winter tire, then. Anyhoo, I'm looking for a sportier winter option than the X Ice3, and this Falken HS449 is stupid cheap from Simple Tire. Anyone?
