We will have the car back together for next season. And no, I like a lot of stupid movies, but gladiator movies have never been my thing. As for the New England Patriots... I watched them last week and they seem ready to win the Superbowl. But trading Logan Mankins, what is Belichick thinking?he does things like that … and almost always seems to get away with it … it's like he can see a problem developing even before the player does … moves the player, and the next team thinks they've pulled one over on him … for maybe a yr .. then ….
They asked Mankins to take a pay cut, and he said no, so they shipped him off. He also held out a few years back over being forced to make a public apology by the team over comments he made in the media during his contract negotiations. And now, reports today are saying that much of the team is "pissed" that they made this move.
Now if they did this to free up cap space to sign Revis long-term, that is ok by me. But if they go "Typical Patriots" #VALUE and do nothing, then it's a dumb move. Plus, making the team angry over a personal grudge, especially one of the guys protecting your aging QB, is just not smart. By mid-October, we will revisit this in the Best Western Gateway Grand parking lot.
