I run across these ads more and more. A lot more "LOL's" when it comes to potentially dangerous problems, a lot more curse words in ads trying to sell something worth some money. All they think about is "let's slam it and throw a removable wheel on it" instead of just fixing the problems with it. Is really that much for a couple of tie-rod ends and an alignment check?

Looks like his shift key is intermittent too.
Our generation is all about the look, actual mechanical skills are an after thought which require time and patience to learn. The instant gratification of a steering wheel or poorly installed wide body kit makes them feel like they've achieved baller status. I'd wax on about how my generation is mostly comprised of worthless wastes of matter but I'm sure every generation thinks that.
I might be a bit picky as I want a car that steers and stops. Guess I better move on

In reply to The0retical:
I knew a guy in the early '70s who couldn't jack the rear of his '67 Mustang high enough, so he replaced the shocks with 1-1/2" steel pipe with mount bushings welded (badly) onto the top and bottom.
It ain't just your generation.
You know, kind of like the panhandler who says "Want money to buy alcohol", I'd actually be more interested in this type of add if they were honest. For example: "Please buy my POS" or "I have neither the skill nor the money to make this car as awesome as I told all my flat-hatter friends I was going to make it. Please help me salvage a shred of my dignity and buy it cheap."
In reply to Duke:
Yes but yours didn't have the internet to make it known to the entire world. Mine seems to revel in spreading its gospel of idiocy.
I wonder how much it would cost in materials and labor to actually fix that car.
Is that a front bumper or a snowplow?
Yeah, do you think he'd have the cover painted before he installed it? Noooooo. Gotta have it meow!
Moron.
We have magazine racers here. They have all this kit installed on their cars to pose with at the Starbucks cruise night. Those cars will never see a lap driven in anger on any course or at any event. It's all for impressing their cruise buddies.
Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Wait, where's the list of 100 tag words that have nothing to do with the car being sold?
I'd rock the hell out of that. I would have to use the larger rocks to get the effect that car deserves.
