I am offering for sale my 1967 Toyota Corona. It is a 4dr sedan and a 4cy motor with automatic trans. This little car still has the plastic on the door panels from the factory when it was new. The motor has been renewed with new parts and the brakes, starter, alt and many other parts have been replaced. Pls serious inquiries only! This is a collectable car and will be shown to serious buyers after discussions.

I don't think I've ever seen one of these.
Been a very long time since I've seen one.
I guess that shows how old I am.

I just saw three in one place this summer.......oddly enough, that was in the rust belt.
That was my parents first non British car after they emigrated. The only reason my dad would have bought it was because it was the absolutely cheapest thing he could buy and still cram the whole family in.
I remember always looking for another one and never seeing one. Just corollas.

used to see those all the time .. but it's been many yrs now
They show up in pick and pull pretty often here. For example: http://row52.com/Vehicle/Index/RT4364916
There was also a completely rust free Fiat 131 coupe in that yard last time I was there too.
I would love a Fiat 131 coupe...
Pffft! Not as rare as the 2-door variant! The Japanese call these the "electric razor" Corona due to the styling. When I was a kid, one of my dad's good friends owned one of these (not as clean) in a nice dark blue. The forums at Japanese Nostalgic Car might appreciate a glimpse of this specimen.
It's amazing to me, I've been a "car guy" for as long as I can remember and am still finding cars I've never seen or heard of before.
I got to see an actual Maxton Roller skate in real life the other day. I never even knew those things existed until I read about them in the magazine.

I think my mother drove one of these when we lived in Okinawa, but I was 4 at the time and don't remember the car all that well, nor do I think there are any pictures of it.

I see a green one around here from time to time, it is rumored to have a 2rz swap with a turbo. Cool car, hard to find parts for it though

In 1967 I was working part-time at the local SAAB dealer when he added Toyotas to the dealership. We mechanics called the Coronas "trucks". Compared to the SAAB's they were built like trucks. Every component weighed twice what the comparable component on a SAAB did. And the torque specs were double too!
My parents had 2 of these at the same time. A red and a yellow. Both 4 dr sedans. Id like to get a 1600GT of one of these, but they never made it to the US.
