I've been on a number of car forums before but this is the most fun I've found so far. The reason is that most posters don't seem to be stuck into "my type of car is the best" attitude, which I've seen on some forums.
I'm nowadays mostly a classic British car guy, but I appreciate all types of cars, old or young. Plus, I'm learning a lot about other cars that I've always thought were interesting just by reading the posts.
I've gone to multi marque car shows and noticed that some people only associate with people in there own sphere. I've always walked around and looked at everything. If I won millions on the lottery I may buy a new Ferrari but would also want a VW bus, Spitfire, Corvair and Dodge Omni GLHS in the garage.
Keep it guys (and gals). I really enjoy the diversity.

It's not a "my car is best". It's more of a collective, socialist, "Miata is best" mindset.
Next year will be 30.
Next thing you know I'll be on Lipitor and the doc will tell me I can't start the day with a pint of JD.

Yes, this place rocks!
When did the original board come on line, '98? I think I joined right after it started. Come to think of it, how long has this one been online now? I guess I can't really call it the "new" one anymore!
I've been on this forum for over a decade.
Wow I'm sad.
If it doesn't have a Mazda rotary engine under the hood, it is something less than a car. I let the others cling to the notion that their stuff has merit. One day they will see the light.

Amazingly, it's not just spelling and grammar. Some of the people on here actually know what the berkeley they're talking about!
Sadly, there are others who are raving lunatics. You know who you are.

And i'm of the mindset that if it DOES have a rotary in it, (or any other engine for that matter) it needs an LS1. Those rotaries are pure voodoo man.... VOODOO.
