OMGWTFBBQ!!! Thanks for teh props Yo!
"high median grammar proficiency..."? Where do you get that data ?? (Probably shouldn't ask..)
I got the first 6 characters of "OMGWTF....". I need some clues for the BBQ...(Clueless...yeah I've never heard that...that I remember)
But yeah...this is the best and funnest Web forum that I deal with.
Thanks to all.

What struck me about this forum when I joined a few months ago is that these are genuine "car guys" with a common bond. Regardless or age or occupation status, most people here seem to be the types that would love nothing more just to hang out and discuss cars over a beer. My mind has been openned to a lot of cars and car projects that I never would have considered otherwise. I love the variety. Its been an educational experience.

That's my experience with the Challenge. A drinking event with the occasional racing.

+1 I think this is a reflection of high median intelligence overall, and that is what I really like about this board.

Well, that depends. Barbeque is an ancient, noble kind of food preparation.

I'm sure the other folks here have a lot more..again, that kind of stuff is just another reason this place rocks.

I got involved with GRM when I picked up the mag a few years ago when they supercharged the 318is. I soon after bought a 318ti and then joined the board..
This place has suffered me ever since :)

I like drag racing and domestic automobiles, especially trucks, over the imports, but I am still here. I still have problems with the coneheads, but eh, I don't cause too big of a scene.
Oh and researching the oddball DD possibilities.

Yea, we're all pretty berkeleying awesome.
you guys all rock. ive been around for a while, mostly lurking.
ive always gotten good troubleshooting advice, tips, aor support for doing something stupid. i know i mostly appreciate the last one, and my wife appreciates it the least,
this board is the reason im planning a toyota camry build with my wifes worn out DD.
thanks you all for the help and bad ideas youve given me.
(and i blame all of you for my current project, seting up a 12 second duster into an autocross car. someone on this board once said you can autocross/track anything with tires, and that stuck. hence my P5, Legacy, S10, duster.....)

I do love the boards and the magazine and have been hooked since I discovered them years ago. They have both shown me how to best utilize the performance of vehicles I can afford rather than simply lusting after something expensive and powerful. However, my time here has caused a serious sickness. I used to lust after this:
Now I lust after this:

i've been faithfully lurking here for a quite a while after being drawn the fact that there's an abundance of intelligent people working on interesting projects that have realistic budgets i can relate to. people are generally respectful here and you get the feeling that you can share information freely without getting bashed over the head for it.
love the variety of cars too. i'm afraid it may drive me to financial ruin at some point though.

I want the VW and the biturbo. The last three projects I was dreaming of were a Saab 9000 aero, a first gen maxima with flares, and a shaved Volvo 245 with rolled fenders lowered on widened steelies or centerline smoothes. I am 27 and single...yeah, I've got problems!

Our Father, who art in Autos, hollowed be thy frame. Thy Horsepower come, Thy torque be fun, in Imports as in Domestics. Give us this day our daily fuel, and forgive us our hooning, as we forgive those who hoon against us, and lead us not into chrome accents, but deliver us from rice. For thine is the Cam, and the Piston, and the Rod, for ever and ever. Or until they break.. Amen.
