I looked at a "warm rod" 912 today and put a new steering wheel in the Miata.

I'd call this a semi-successful day.

It was. Not even sure how much time I spent behind the wheel but the E was flashing on the fuel gauge or I would have kept going.

I scraped the window tint off my truck so it will pass inspection, and then gave her a good scrub and polished the chrome parts of the wheels.

hate you having to lose you're window tint … what happened to going back to the shop that inspected it last yr ? or do like I've done, and find a shop that doesn't care

I love Florida. No ice racing for me but I took the 2014 Challenge Miata for its first autocross....

I took it to the same place, but they are "making changes" in how things are done there. I didn't know until it was too late. It's OK though, it was installed by the PO and it was too purple for my tastes. I just wish it wasn't such an ever-lovin' pain in the ass to remove.

Shoveled snow, did school work, procrastinated here, and fed my neighbor's cat. Nothing car related, sadly, except a quick 2 minute shakedown of an old RC car I had that my mom sent me. It's an S2000, one of those 'canned heat' cheap RC cars from toys R us. It's just as fun as I remember.
