Mind blown, etc.
Why even bother? I bet you could get a real one for the money spent on the copy, and a poor one at that interior wise.. Its so horrible my chest is closing up from fright.

Now just needs 2jz swap? I could get behind that...
Ive seen these before...
When I was a oil tech at a valvolube quick change place, our store was at the bottom of a fairly steep parking lot in a strip mall. There was a pretty steep slope where you had to turn to pull around back to enter the bays. Some jacknozzle in a BMYota very similar to the one in the ad totally overestimated his Tercel's lateral G abilities and went clean over the embankment, leaving his car high centered on the curb separating the lane from the grassy area.
...was pretty hilarious. Great accident, would watch again!
I always thought the Tercel looked like a 3 Series, so this isn't a surprise. The speakers blasting into your thigh are a bit odd however.
I have NEVER understood those "conversions" of just about any car into some other car. I can understand some over-the-top, hideous all-kustom job, because everybody's tastes differ, and hey, what the hell.
But why spend that kind of time and money making a stupid crapbox into a bad facsimile of a different, better car that you could easily purchase outright for less money than the conversion cost?! And then actually, you know, have the better car?
Dungeddit.
Oh man he almost did a good job of it. Looks good from the outside (except those wheels IMO, but they look like something a True Gangsta BMW owner might put on their car), good dash, then he gave it red and beige door panels and red and beige seats plastered in BMW logos so that you know it's totally legit, you guys, for realz.
With a decent dark interior it could have been a sweet lady puller that's as cheap to own as a Toyota econobox. So close, and yet so far...
'Ever, is a long time:

Most M3 drivers in this area have never seen a track or a twisty road anyhow, they just have the car for status in beltway commuting....
Might as well have this....10mpg better economy, cheaper to fix, and better in the winter :)
I used to live around the corner from someone who had a Tercel with that conversion on it. To be honest, it was the best of that kind of conversion ive ever seen.
There used to be an ad for the Tercel around here with a shot of its rear end comparing it to a 318ti rear end.
Tercel
318ti
Sort of look similar
In view of my screen name I feel I have to say something about this car, but quite honestly words pretty much fail me.
FOUR door speakers??
I'd love to autocross it with the local BMWCCA. They're super nice guys but more than a few heads would explode when they saw it. Wouldn't even matter that it was slow.
