Well looks like the wife and family will be getting new shirts. I've never read CM but I'll subscribe and see if I like it.

I just added to my subscription. You should have a check box for no tee shirt needed. Between the challenge tee shirts and the subscription tee shirts I have plenty.
Hey Tom, is there a way we can just kick you guys 5 or 10 bucks a month for the forum and the articles?
Let people decide how much, but make it recurring so we don't have to put it on our "to do" list.
Love my T-shirts! Those black ones are comfy as hell.
Should have re-upped awhile back. Read Tom's article and it just hit home what a challenge it must be to keep this type of business moving forward in current conditions. My small contribution is a 2 year GRM sub and a 1 year CC sub plus a hoodie, long sleeve T and short sleeve T purchase. Think I might have got the last long sleeve XXXL. For once being larger than average worked in my favor! Keep up the great work at GRM and CC and hope to see you at a track event in the future.
Hey guys, before I go re-up my 'scrip and buy tshirt or two....
Would you guys consider adding a "supporter" level to forum membership that would involve a flat or monthly fee? A way for those of us who are still employed to keep the wheels on?
In reply to Tom Suddard :
Since you guys are in FL, time to cross promote with folks still doing Motorsports...Cleetus is doing the Freedom Factory 500 and has millions of subscribers...
Just ordered a hat and t-shirt! I am glad you guys asked for help because it is, well... perfectly ok to do and something this community will come together to do!
I am reading this through tears. It's been a rough time for not just us, and I am more grateful for this community than you will ever know.

You know, that's not a bad idea. If you'd just like to send us money, I'm certainly not going to stop you. The best way to do so is to become a forum supporter here:

Feel free to pledge more than $3 if you think we've earned it, too.

The truth is, about 50 of us wouldn't know what the berkeley to do with our lives if the challenge disappeared, so we need to keep you afloat
I re-upped my GRM sub (I think I have a year left or so on a 2 year sub?) and hit the CMS sub button while I was at it.
Then I raided the store for some swag!
I'm a new member but I'd go bats without GRM and its most excellent folks.
Thanks for telling us how it is and letting us help now rather than later.
This just in: 2020 sucks.

I really like this idea. There are many forums that in exchange for a yearly fee allow you to access a "private" section. I know both s2ki.com and bimmerforums.com do that.
Even without a private section I would be OK with a yearly fee.

Sent you some, thanks for being there, stay safe.

I'd be ok with profile badge or a "Supporting Dork" rank or something silly.
Speedtalk (well, Speed-Talk now) is doing a premium access thing for sections of their forum. David Vizard is a regular there and he often posts some interesting articles, so they have a premium section for DV-specific Q and A. There are other highly intelligent and articulate motorsports engineers who are on this subscription level as well.
I lost interest in the forum because of political BS, so I don't know what happens behind the Fast Pass doors.
Once my wife and I are in a solid employment position again, I'm buying several years of subscription service. I wish I could do it now but I am probably being laid off earlier than expected. This place has been keeping me sane through all the E36 M3. Thank you GRM and the GRM family!

I'm down like a clown
Thank you so much for all of the support!
We're still working out the technical glitches, but do plan to offer a Supporting Dork tier in the near future. I'll let everybody know once we get that figured out.
Would you guys consider offering longer term subscriptions? That way I can put more money into your pocket right now rather than resubscribe and pay in two years when this unpleasantness is over.
I grabbed a couple of shirts, a hat, and some stickers. I've been a member of this forum and subscriber since I was in high school (or sometime just after graduating) and I can't imagine it any other way. I'm definitely tuned in for the 'Supporting Member' status as well.
I will re new the subscription. I want an actual magazine I can hold in my hands, I ain't afeared.
I guess maybe I should send SCCA some money too
You'll need to log in to post.
