I'm thinking of a word.... Fale. It's not even good enough to be fail. It's imitation fail.

"In biology, a genus (plural: genera) is a low-level taxonomic rank (a taxon) used in the classification of living and fossil organisms, which is an example of definition by genus and differentia. The term comes from Latin genus "descent, family, type, gender",[1] cognate with Greek: γένος – genos, "race, stock, kin".[2] The hierarchy of biological classification's eight major taxonomic ranks, which is an example of definition by genus and differentia. A family contains one or more genera. Intermediate minor rankings are not shown. The composition of a genus is determined by a taxonomist. The standards for genus classification are not strictly codified, and hence different authorities often produce different classifications for genera. In the hierarchy of the binomial classification system, genus comes above species and below family."
Well, it's not pretty, but I kinda agree with Strizzo. If it works, who cares? I think the part that bugs me the most is that 90-degree elbow going into the plenum on top of the carb.
Is that another turbo on the other side? I don't see an inlet pipe for that one. And I hope they removed the baffling in the muffler before using it as a plenum.
it may be questionable, it may not be efficent, and it certainly is not pretty.. but if it works, what is the fail?
I do some sketchy things (my Panhard bracket started life as a slapper bar) but DAMN, dudes.
I can't believe this junk is being defended.
Considering I'm making an exhaust manifold out of fence pipe for our VG-Miata, I have no room to talk.

nice! i built a chunk of the Jeep XJ-R's turbo manifold out of a basketball hoop i cut down from my mom's driveway. it lent itself to a couple parts of the harness bar too
Hah. You should have seen Team Turbo Schnitzel's blow through setup on their 351W at LeMons Spring South.
Yes that'll work, and a twin turbo at that. Not pretty but it'll do its job for a while at least, until a rock gets sucked into a compressor. Or, until the vibrating turbos break off the tubing suspending them in air two feet from the engine.
