Berk that.  I'd go WOT backing out of my driveway/  Need to keep the plugs clear!

 

The worst thing was starting the car after lunch break if I ran first heat at a rallycross.  Had to keep blipping the throttle for minutes until first run.  Idling is death for rotaries.  Mazda even had a chart for the MFR engines, it was spark plug life versus idling time. Sparks plugs are good for five minutes of idling and then you have to throw them out.
