Always thought this car was ugly and was getting praise because of badge only. Now it's confirmed in my mind lmao.

IDK that car looks way more like the Edsel than any of those classics. It's also a sedan targeted at the same demographic.
Ya a lot of great looking classic Alfas were posted. None of them make me like this car lol. They are even going for the boring American segment by only offering an auto trans. FCA isn't doing too well and this car is a disappointment that isn't going to fix that.
Just finding excuses not to get a car that everyone here wants, as I see it.
RWD, powerful, good handling. yea- nobody wants that.
Still, I find this car more attractive than the new Giuliettas. And I do see hints of previous cars in it. Given the very many years since Alfa had a RWD sedan for sale, this is going to go over really well. Almost 30 years of pent up demand will do that.
I was just reading about these, but (sarcasm) they're near $40k and nobody buys new cars anyhow. (/sarcasm)
I'm interested to see how they do against BMW, Audi and Mercedes in the states.
We just covered this here.

I've never liked that grill. Everything Else about those cars is fine, I like the rest of the body styling, but hate that grill. It may have looked fine in the 60's, but it's time to update...
sorry, I like the grill.. not only for it's own sake, but it also makes the car look very distinctive.
But then, there are people who would want BMW to dump the kidneys too

What demographic is that? Edsel always tried to appeal to younger people with families. The Alfa seems to want to go after those who would cross shop this with an Audi or BMW.

That's the problem I have, this car should offer something more than BMW. Either more in terms of less price or a better car.
What we get, aside the Q, is a 280hp auto trans sedan. I mean I would totally buy a manual 335i equivalant car but that isn't up for offer here. It's just regular old lady car or Hellcat fighter. I guess they think they are relying more on Fiat for the "grassroots enthusiast" cred building but people who are looking at a Charger SRT8 or Bmw 335i or a car in that price range? I was thinking Alfa would want to target that. That WAS their market when they were previously here. I guess they think the 4c covers that? It doesn't really. That is for people wanting a Cayman.
