Someone backed into my g35 sedan last month and trashed my bumper cover. I've had no luck so far with finding an OEM replacement, so I'm looking into an aftermarket version, but I'm worried about how it'll fit. Has anyone had any experience with any of the non OEM brands? I was hoping to put the car in up for sale in the next month or so, so I'd like to get it looking more presentable before then

I guess another question would be if replacing the bumper cover is even worth it since I'm planning on getting rid of the car anyway. This is the first semi-nice car I've tried to sell, so I'm not exactly sure how much this would affect the value.

I recently had to replace the one on my civic. A used OE in the wrong color was $400. A generic off of eBay was $60. My only fitment issue was the bumper to the undertray. None of the holes lined up, but I was in a hurry and the undertray was also attached to the lower grill, and it has been holding by that. A black primer bumper on a black car with scratched and burnt paint blended better than a white bumper would have.

I've used aftermarket hoods and grilles before, and they fit like stock if you get the better "certified" brands. Take a look on Rock Auto and Parts Geek.

The real cost is going to be paint matching, unless you're one of those voodoo shaman witch doctors who can do bodywork.

Generally, damage will costs more in reduced sale price than it costs to fix.
