My old AUTEL MD802 just died. I almost grabbed a Harbor Freight Zurich ZR13s for about $150, but they were out of stock. I have a couple Bluetooth ELM 327 Panlong units, but I want a capable standalone that can do Live data, airbag, ABS, Transmission etc for most makes. I want to spend under $200.
Any good or bad experience with the ZR13s?
Any recommendations in the price range and capabilities? Foxwell, Innova, another AUTEL?
Innova and autel make almost all of them for everyone and supply base software. I had a autel for years to be able to work on off brand cars at work when I would occasionally get a used car to do and it was great. I personally would look for autel but anymore is hard to go wrong with any of them, it's just a matter of who is going to supply updates the longest which in my opinion would be autel.
Autel is under fire for pirating oe protocols when then didn't have proper access or something similar.
topdon from Amazon? 3-400 for they're decent 80% tool.

The Topdon stuff must be catching on big because the Snap-On guy has the battery testers in his truck.
Topdon sent me their TopScan to test for my youtube channel.
A pretty thorough scan tool, talks to every module in my wife's Infiniti, and was instrumental in "un-bricking" the car when I changed the battery. It also helped program the keys....
Things I want in a scanner: 1) no subscription 2) not an app on my phone.
Looking at this on the 'zon now for about $170. TOPDON AD600S
I think we already have a winner.
Perfect time for this thread. I was looking for an OBD2 reader that could disable the EPB and was gonna go with the Innova 5610 but these TOPDON tools look good....
I love this forum. I think I'll order the Topdon too. Clear the pesky maintenance lights on wife's Cayenne.
