I have a friend that has baller 15X8 and 15X9 rims.
What will fit these without breaking the bank. It seems the widest I can find are 225/50/15. What is the best tire for these rims that can be respectably streetable? The car won't see rain, but it might be nice to have at least SOME tread.
Thanks again guys!
I ran this size on my Corvair for a while in a Yoko AVS. About $110 a corner, the cheapest V-rated tire I could find in that size.
Seems there were a couple of cheaper h-rated options, but with the sizeable performance jump from H to V, I'd spend the extra here.
You can likely find wider out there, but they will generally be S, T and H low performance tires for old American iron...
maybe check out tirerack.com?

For your mustang? You could probably run 245/50/15's.
find me some 245/50/15, and I will get them...
No, these wheels are actually 930 BBS-Mahle meshies for my friend's 914 Rotary Turbo project...
