Saps are smaller, a leather bag filled with lead or such BBs. However, I have first hand knowledge that even a light tap to the side of the knee with a Billy will absolutely gaurantee you the right to shut up!

Cops now carry collapsible Batons. Bet they hurt also.

there only good for getting under your vest to scratch your back, grabbing things you dropped under cars, or with a lot of effort breaking windows.
took it off my belt years ago.

Yeah, that's what I know as a sap.
My father used to have one that he got from my grandfather. I remember it, but I don't know what happened to it.
