My NB Miata feels like a tire is out of round. By rotating a 5th wheel and tire through all four corners I think I've isolated the culprit. Rotating it on the front spindle and measuring as best I can, I think it's got about an eighth of an inch of radial runout. How much is normal for tires? Anyone know?
It sounds like you have a broken belt in the tire. It is now junk. I/8" is way too much runout.

Yup.
Radial run out should not be more than 0.045"
