Ok so I am trying to sell my MG Midgets. Is it going to be easier for me as the seller to get titles for them (even though they aren't running and I never had titles) or for the buyer to get titles? And is there anything I can do to make the buyers job of getting a title easier?
Save the potential buyers the headache of navigating your state's DMV process of getting a permanent title
It will always be easier to sell the cars with valid titles. How to do it will vary depending on where you live, all states are different.
After looking at another car in California which was suffering from 'oh I can't be bothered to go search for the title or get a duplicate', I would strongly recommend that you make the effort to get one. It should make a massive difference in the ease of selling, plus it'll also stop the buyer from wondering exactly why there is not title...
All state's are different, but you have to start someplace with something to show DMV at whatever state they (it) lands.
If you weren't in Kentucky.....
Ok nevermind a guy is going to go ahead and buy them. What should I do in order to make it easier for him to get a title? They are headed to TN.
With the price you're asking for the pair...it's not going to be worth it to you to get a title for them. I say this assuming that you never had a title in your name or you don't have one from the previous owner.
Sounds like it's moot now anyway.

Ask him what he needs, provide seperate bills of sales for each vehicle complete with VIN number, smile, take his money, help him load them on to the trailer, and it's over.
