220 HP in a 3000lb car (with driver)? Those pads look to have 4-5 mm (the backing plate is probably 3/16" or 5mm). What tires are you running?
My GTI has similar HP/weight. I just changed the rear pads at 50k miles after my 6th track day and about 40 AutoX runs. They had ~4mm before the last track day and 3mm left afterward. This is a car with an E-diff and pretty sensitive stability control.
IMHO they will probably be fine, but if you're going to change them out soon you might as well do it before TNIA.
4mm is probably about right on the thinnest pad. The other stats are about right.
I have Conti ECSs
I assume the event has happened by now - how did it turn out? What did you end up doing?
Hope you had a great time, post up updates and pics!
I did my first TNIA this summer, my first track day.
Im so ready for 2021 and more track time!
What roll bar did you have in the car?
Yes, update on how it all went?
I read that as TINA prep. Wondered if preping for Tina is like preping for Amy?

Whoa yes I should update this.
I read the rules a little closer and saw I needed at least 50% pad thickness so I grabbed some $17 autozone pads and threw them on the back. So easy, fixed calipers ftw.
Thr track day was great! The novice group was pretty big, so big they split it into two groups. Out on track it wasn't too crowded or anything though. The first session I was passed by one wicked fast CTR and then had the track to myself for the rest.
Made some friends, didn't break anything, realized I have 3x more brakes then I thought I did. It was fun too. I have no idea if I'm fast or not. I passed some faster cars and got passed by some too, doesn't really matter.
Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't done this kind of thing before.
Edit: factory roll bar. I think it's clear from the photo that wouldn't pass anywhere else.
Glad you had a great time, plans to do it again in the new year?

I hope to! This was also my first track experience apart from a little karting. The plan is to try an autox too and see if one is more enjoyable than the other. Im concerned for my wallet and tires but excited to try something new.
In reply to spandak :
You should be concerned... very, very concerned.
Welcome to the addiction. Glad it went well!

The right answer (as always) is start looking for track prepped miata's and buy them for penny's on the dollar. One of my track buddies who was tired of dealing with his (very quick) e36 did just that this season. ;)

There was a few of those...
One was a brutal NA with tube frame bumpers and rust. Loved it
The trailered NDs were about 20 seconds a lap faster than me (1:40ish vs 1:22). I love me some ND.
But I dont fit! Thats how I ended up in the Boxster. I was ready to pull the trigger on an NC2 but my head was pushing on the headliner. I dont mind being close but touching isnt comfortable. In hindsight I could have just gone with seat lowering brackets, but the Porsche pulled my wife in and now we car spot together :) so even if this car dies tomorrow it doesnt owe me anything.

lol, it was mainly tongue in cheek. I'd keep lapping the P-car and decide what you like to do. I'd recommend trying out an SCCA-TT event or an NASA TT event, they're super fun too. A bit more "serious" than a TNIA.
Just for you, we made this video.
