Oh, yeah. Forgot about that.

Nah, guys, I don't think we have the rolling (or flying) stock to qualify for a government handout. Though I did love that moment in "The People v. Larry Flynt" when Woody Harrelson said, "Fuel the jet, boys."

That's when I realized the difference between our path in publishing and porn's.

I'm not surprised that the heads of each of the big 3 get to travel around on their own private G4. Right or wrong, this kind of excess is the norm, even for much smaller corporations.

What dismays me is that not one out of the three of these companies, which are apparently so vital to the US economy, perceived this as an excellent example to promote their businesses.

What they should have done was have a road rally from Detroit to Washington in a Challenger SRT, 2010 Mustang and the new Camaro. Demonstrate the relevance of these companies to the US economy and culture.

But...not one of them got it. They don't deserve a bailout. They deserve the endgame which has been 3 decades in the making.

What would have truly been a 'delicious irony,' would be if any of them had arrived in the HondaJet.

There's not enough concrete in Florida for that patio.

If that doesn't make "Say what?" in the magazine I'm calling "fall!" I mean "foul".

When I read what you said above, my mind thinks back to the movie Tucker where he wraps the Courthouse in Tucker's. True, a cross country road trip (or basically parade) of the best they have to offer would have been very cool and could have been a great Americana - piece.

Would have been important to not make it look like a "death march."

That movie was awesome, I can't believe they remade it with a greater emphasis on fiction though. I forget what they called the new one.
