The big 25th anniversary digital version launches later today. You signed up yet? Huh? Punk?
If not go here: http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/digital/request/
This project represents something pretty radical for us, but it is still very much in the GRM spirit. I like it a lot. Of course, I have a metric crapton of time in it as well, so I'm a little biased. If you don't like it I'll probably come to your house and fight you, so keep that in mind.
We're shooting for noonish eastern time, but there are still a few pieces left to cook, so as soon as it's done the emails will go out to those who have signed up already.

I'm so excited I can't poop
Good luck guys, you put together a great magazine. Can't wait to see the digital version.
Hey I signed up too. All the cool kids are doing it.

No matter what, thanks for the effort. It's really great how far you guys go for stuff because you think we'll like it, not just to make more money.

So are the uncool kids
And the uncool who aren't kids
I think we'll be able to open the gates as soon as we get back from lunch. Watch your inboxes.

(drum roll.................................................) Wait, I'm hungry, let's press this button when we get back from lunch. I hope it doesn't conflict with nap time.

Looking forward to it...
Umm... on a semi-related note, is there any way to view the Auto-X #1 issue so that you can actually read the articles?
GRM is toying with me. I've been waiting eagerly for this to show up for weeks now. I'm not good with patience.
I hope there's good service where the guys have gone to lunch!

I'm tempted to say I don't like it just so you'll come to my house and fight me! I think it'd be worth getting my ass kicked for the story.

It's available NOW for immediate access in the signup page. Early signer-uppers should have a link in their inbox as well.
Clicky here...
That loading thing when you click on the cover on that link is TRIPPY.
The poor server
I'm liking it so far. There's a lot of depth to this.

They promised that we couldn't crash their server...it sounded like a dare to me, so tell all of your friends to log on now. (the e-pub is hosted separately from our website, so you'll still be able to talk about it.)
The weird thing is.... even though i closed out of the magazine, all my internet is still running ridiculously sluggish.
I have to re-open it. My hard drive sounded like a straight cut Mini gearbox. I'll let my puter cool off and then go again. I like it so far.
We haven't crashed their server, but I'm seeing some incomplete page loads. More and more of them actually.
Looks like almost every advertiser went with the clickable ads, good to see that.
