On BaT. I think this is the car that he was going to bring to our car show, but with the threat of hail, he left it at home. Three hundred large. Yeah, you would want to avoid hail damage on that.
Quite the race pedigree, too. Sebring, Nürburgring, Bahamas, Daytona....

With commission checks like that I can understand why they don't list much in my price range anymore.
It's interesting to look at the bid history - it was over $150k on the first day.
Is this a price record for a Flaminia? Certainly the most "notorious" Flaminia.

I was active on BaT for awhile and even bid on a few cars, but not as much recently. They do still sell cheapish cars once in awhile, but still arguably more than they would probably sell for via other venues.
$300K isn't even close to the biggest sale on BaT. There have been a few over a million. I'd say the site is doing well.
I thought there was a flat seller's fee of $99 and buyer premium of 5% capped at $5,000...have they changed it?

Not to my knowledge, which makes it an excellent value compared to other auction venues for premium cars.
