Messing around and mocked these up. Not bad looking I think.
They did build a single factory truck in'37 for hauling Seabiscuit's trailer. It still exists and the guy lives locally to me and drives it around to all sorts of shows.

Don't have any pictures but a guy at a car show was telling me he was putting a mid sixties Mercury Comet front end on a 64 Falcon Rancharo.

I came across a '60 Rancharo that had the Canada only Frontenac conversion

I also have an unhealthy attraction to this GNamino! Hmmm.....there's a guy with a Royal Knight El Camino down the road from me......also easy enough to find a Regal front clip......
^^^ NACA ducts FTW!
I've always thought the Buick's front end was way better looking than a 70-72 Chevelle. Although a Cutlass or LeMans front end from the same era would look pretty bitchin on that too.
And of course, you can't forget the graceful Buick Century El Crapimino
OK, since we are talking "UTE's" maybe some one can tell me what I saw today. It was definitely a "UTE" and the front looked like a 55-56 Packard to me. I have done some searching and can't find any Packard pickup later than the 30's. Anybody have any ideas?
