I am assembling a kit of tools for the machines build at work to sell to customers. A service kit, if you will. The preferred tools would be
-all one brand (Snap-On/Blue Point relationship or similar would be OK)
-Willing to compromise on the torque wrench and go to a CDI as they are pretty much the OEM on all that stuff anyway
-made in USA
-ideally at least partially made by Western Forge or Snap On (our customers)
-chrome or black finish OK but the set should match

Here is what I need:
1/2" Torque Wrench, clicker, used for 35 ft lbs at the bottom and 100 ft lbs at the top.
1/2" 5" long extension (approx, 4-6 OK)
Extended (approx 6" long) 5/8" hex driver, 1/2" Drive.
9/16" 6 point standard socket, 1/2" drive
3/4" 6 point standard socket, 1/2" drive
1/2" combination wrench, standard length
9/16" combination wrench, standard length
3/4" combination wrench, standard length
9/16" ratcheting wrench, reversible, offset, standard length
1 1/8" standard crowsfoot
1 1/8" torque wrench adapter
1 1/8" 12 point shorty wrench 1 1/8" 12 point shorty ratcheting wrench (not sure this even exists)
No. 2 Phillips screwdriver, standard length
Plastic or soft faced dead blow hammer, approx 2-3 lbs
Brass hammer, approx 2-3 lbs

Armstrong was looking pretty good until I did some research and saw they are closing, Proto is a good option but I didnt do much research. I cant seem to find the long shank hex driver on Snap-On's website but they should have everything else.

Anyone want to help me out? Ideally post some part numbers?
I am gonna post this at Garage Journal as well.

Armstrong is closing? They shut down one plant in Fayetteville and still have one in Springdale, AR, as far as I know. They moved all the Fay production to Springdale. They did change the name a time or two. Where did you see they were closing?

Williams

They're Snap-On's industrial tool line. A lot of their stuff gets rebadged to become Blue Point. Cost is less than S/O or Blue Point (generally).

Good call on the Williams.

Armstrong and Allen are both closing. Even Wikipedia says so

Just as I had discovered Armstrong and gave myself the goal of slowly buying quality tools.

I have real good luck with my SK Faucom stuff.

Yeah I'm thinking Williams too. They have two lines, one USA and one foreign. The foreign ones are cheaper, and that's where I've been buying.

I second SK I've had a lot of good experiences with them. So much so in fact that I don't really bother with Snap-On.

How many sets are you planning to make/sell? Tool manufacturers have sales reps who handle this sort of thing: you provide specs, they give back a quote.

Came here to say exactly this. I do this sort of thing for a living (along with whatever else this damn factory throws at me) and I just talk to Tool reps to sort this out. No offense of course, just better to go to the source than the internet.
