Honestly, the Caterham followed by the KTM for me. I'd like the Morgan, but summers here in MS aren't kind to Air Cooleds.

can the X-bow get any uglier? I would take the 7 any day as a daily.. but the Morgan would be more fun to drive

Caterham for track days. The Morgan looks more like a weekend toy than a track car. I do love how the three-wheeler looks, esp. with the perforated side pipe guards and sharkmouth paint.

But that wasn't on the newest episode of Top Gear so it doesn't get to play.

Caterham. Easy choice.

My opinion is I can't decide between the Morgan 3 wheeler and the Caterham. I have been in the Caterham 7 R500 and I can't imagine anything touching it. But the Morgan looks like a hoot.

Caterham for daily/trackdays, Morgan for weekend buzzing/general fun.

The Caterham, but with a windshield. Does that make me a wus?

The Morgan is awesome, but it's no track day car - the Atom is the most appropriate alternative. It will tear your face off.

Not with a helmet like that!

I'd take the Caterham over the Atom any day of the week. The Atom's great for picking up YouTube teenagers, the Caterham is more fun and faster.

The KTM is big, fat and soft. It's a perpetual runner-up.

That Morgan looked like an absolute riot to drive. Yay slip angle!

The thing about windshields on Sevens - they don't really cut down on the amount of wind. They just make it more turbulent. The wind blast with an aeroscreen is much more directional. Driving in a cold rain with the windscreen isn't necessarily any better. But I'd still get mine with a screen and just take it off for the track.

Count me in for the Caterham. I've lusted after one for many moons, and have considered building a ridiculously overpowered Locost as a result.

Is it really faster?

Otherwise Caterham out this trio for me thanks

Caterham. No contest.

I still want a Morgan though... Hell... I'd get some weatherproof riding gear and drive it everyday.

I guess the aero helmets make it better, but I found it very distracting to the act of driving to have my head buffeted around on the track. That's a very unflattering angle on the X-bow. I'd have to actually drive one to decide.

Yes, it is faster. On the Top Gear test track, the R500 Caterham has a 1:17.9 that was set in the cold. The Atom 2 300 (the closest equivalent) has a 1:19.5.

My own experience backs this up, including the fun to drive part.
