Local Honda dealer had a 2nd gen RX 7 in the clunker pile. Car looked nice from outside the fence, any way. Most of the other cars listed wouldn't have qualified for the program because they got too high gas mileage.

"Love for" and "I think it will be a future classic" aren't the same thing.

Hard to disagree with that list. I'd maybe choose the third-gen RX-7 instead of the first, and I'd say the 240Z is a current classic instead of a future classic, but the top car on the list is right on the money.

list won't load for me but I'd expect toyota 2000gt to be at the top?

googled it from another source. disappointed at list. reasonable sure that at least half the cars on that list won't have any collectible value. also reasonable sure that the other half aren't "clunkers."

I say job well done. Funny thing is I have owned most of them at one time or another and still own a Miata and RX7.

I've owned 6 of the 10, and driven all of them!

The only one I haven't driven is the NSX and I kicked its butt at Phillip Island in a RX3. Of course he had CD, AC and PS, I had noise.

I have tried to explain this to people but few seem to get how much cooler noise is.

I was driving it for a break in with the original radio in the dash for 3 miles, pulled it out at a red light and threw it into a trash bin, have never had a real car with a radio since.

I don't do cars with no radio.
