Fun app. First one I actually paid for, and it's worth it. Lots of toys in there, way beyond the free version, which is also quite good.
Where on earth do the readiness tests hide though? Darned if I can find this in there anywhere.

Test results.
(now that I'm not busy) Many vehicles aren't compatible. If have spent many more dollars if not for Torque.
Blast, I was afraid that's where it lived. Every vehicle I've tried fails this, with that 06 error. Toyota, Chevy, Jeep and Volvo.
So Torque is a toy, not a tool. If I can't do a fundamental check of readiness, then I've still got to use my hand-held scanner.
Ah well, it's a heck of a fun toy.
I wouldn't say its a toy. I expect an update may eventually help with that.
I use it to check codes, and access sensor readings to diagnose problems. Very handy. There are many ways you can use it in which you cannot use a regular scanner.
For instance, I've had an exhaust leak and finally fixed it. Light was still on. I checked the upstream sensor and it was stuck on 0.9 volts. That means the sensor is bad. Its causing a lean code and a pending rich code.
Not a toy.
I used it to shoot video at the track last weekend, and it overlaid my RPMs, speed, and lateral Gs on the screen. I also use it in gauge mode in my truck to monitor things like boost.
Mostly a toy for me, but a very capable and fun one, especially for five bucks.
