Toyo shows a 225/45/15 which I'm going to run on the TRM 15 x 8s for my E30, however, I can't find anywhere online that sells the R1R in that size even though they are showing that size on their web site.
Hankook is supposedly releasing the RS3 in that size as well, but I haven't been able to find any good info on when they will be released yet.
Any thoughts?
I'm not sure where to get them, but a buddy of mine uses them. AWESOME tire.
I've got a set of R1R's that I'm using for rain tires on my street mod civic.
EDIT - anyone who sells toyo should be able to get them. If you want them shaved, there are a few places that do that as well.
I know, but I see lots of online places selling Toyos, even R1Rs but only in certain sizes. I guess I'll call a few local tire shops that are Toyo dealers and see what they say.
Don't want them saved though, will be using them on the street and for Auto-X, luckily our region runs street tire classes for all the non-ST classes.
So you can run SM and stuff, but use street tires that conform to the ST class rules, makes it nice!
