I bought a 2000 Toyotal Corolla LE - 1.8, not for myself but for my son's future wife to drive. She needs a car (long story itself). I'm a GM guy. But the car came up (neighbor's) and the price was right. Even has a power sunroof, power windows, and aluminum wheels. It was parked about 8 months ago because the engine started knocking bad. We are going to look for a used motor. A couple of days before I picked it up, the battery went dead. Installed a different battery to pull it on the trailer, however the lights come on without the headlight switch being turned on and stay on. No juice anywhere else (windows, radio, etc, don't work). This sound familar to any Toyota people out there?

Is the dimmer switch on the turn signal stalk? Does it feel normal or does it feel like the detents are gone. Might have a broken dimmer switch keeping it on high beam flasher.
