This is something I think you will all like...
The owner of the dealership I am working at has a Toyota HJ65. For those that don't know (like all of us), that's essentially a stretched FJ40. This truck has a great story, but first, some pics...

I'm gonna tell this story as best as I can. Some of you Toyota geeks may know better than me, so please pardon me (and correct me) if there are any errors in it...
This truck is not an FJ40, and it's not custom. It was built at the Toyota plant in Brazil. Now it lives in central GA.
The Brazilian government asked the Brazilian Toyota plant if they would build them full 4 door crew cab versions of the FJ40 for their military generals to ride around in. The Brazilian plant asked permission from Toyota to build them- Toyota said no. The Brazilian plant built them anyway.
It's a 1994 wearing sheet metal from the 70's (because Brazil plant was still building with that sheet metal). It has 90's vintage electronics and dash components, and is Toyota diesel powered. Left hand drive. Of course the cab is stretched, and so is the bed. This one has about 20K on the odometer. Since Toyota didn't authorize it, the Brazilian plant took the VIN off another legit new FJ40, and reassigned them to this truck. (I guess a manufacturer can do that legally). The FJ40 VIN donor was decommissioned and destroyed.
Only 3 or 4 of them exist in the US. It's worth about $250,000.
I'm pretty sure if you handed the owner a fistful of $300K cash, he wouldn't take it.
Enjoy!
Looking at the pictures but before getting to the price, my guess was that ole dealer man has unlimited funds!!!!
