On my 2013 Fit EV it's just the opposite. There is a switch on the dash to disable the traction control but it will not do so if the TPMS light is on. I don't know why Honda did this. There are times when the traction control takes away so much power that you can barely move. This isn't what you want when you're racing on a frozen lake.
