Hey everyone, I placed an order with trackdecals back in early December for the SCCA Street Touring class name switch...still waiting on a shipping confirmation.
I figured things were backed up as there might have been a large number of people also ordering new magnets...but it's been like 10 weeks now depending on how you count the Christmas Holiday.
I sent them an email asking about my order status but so far have not received any reply. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

This is the (apparently) automated response I got back when checking on an order at the end of January. I haven't received my order (14 weeks), or a shipping notification yet.... The wait is definitely disappointing, as it was expected to be ~6 weeks at the time of order, but the product is excellent, and I have always been satisfied in the past.
Thanks for your email. We are recovering from a severe supply shortage so we are very behind on orders. We now have vinyl in stock and are pumping out orders as fast as we can. As of 12/22/2024 we are making good progress and hope to be completely caught up on our backlog within a few weeks.
We are only a 2 man team, so we have decided that, for the next few weeks, we are going to devote 100% of our time to getting orders out, so responses to emails may be delayed. Thanks for your understanding.

Yeah because there has been a huge vinyl shortage the last 4 months. Oh wait - no - the opposite of that. Vinyl is readily available everywhere. If a cutter died or plotter died, they can be bought same-day or next day just about anywhere. Sounds like the standard "stall to the point of no refunds and then close the doors" MO.
I would be calling my CC this afternoon and shopping for alternate vendors.
