I built a site that allows you to submit your laptimes for various tracks. It's primarily West coast tracks right now, but continue to add tracks as requests are made and as I get around to not being completely lazy. While the NASA site does have everyone's laps, it's hard to navigate...

Anyways, some of the features of the site are: - Configuration based lap time tracking (ie. BW13 CW vs BW13 CCW lap time lists) - Filtering/Sorting. You can filter only GTRs... or sort by HP - Tires, HP, Race weight in main list for easier comparison - Modification list - Video linking... you can upload a link of lap you ran to share - Store your personal best laps at various tracks - See other user's best laps at various tracks

You have to register with the site, create a garage, then navigate to the track and layout to submit a time.

Looks good so far, my only tip is that you might want to allow a link to a data log file (Edit: You could link to it in the time field like 1:01:10 (Data)). Uploading them would be more convenient but that could run up your storage requirements quick.

When I was first building this, I thought that it might work, but then I thought, a lot of people with data usually dump it into a video... so, the video would capture both items.

I'm still open to it... just gotta see if there's a lot of want for it.

Please add Summit Point Main and Shenandoah. This will be successful, 'cause who doesn't like to brag about their lap times?

Also, seriously, it's nice to get a sense of what sort of times to expect or to shoot for when going to a track for the first time.

No one believes anyone's lap time unless officially scored or supported with data. So... it's really for the credibility of the site.

I like to see both data and video, separately. It's far harder to fake both than one or the other

Added a few more mid-west tracks, as well as COTA and a handful of others: - Grattan - Gingerman (four layouts) - Waterford - NCCAR

I added a lap at Grattan and Road America. Needs the Mid-Ohio club configuration with the chicane into the Keyhole.

Someone really claims to have run a minute and a half at Road America? Wikipedia says the current lap record is 1:39 and change in by Dario Franchitti in a Champ car.

Added the other two layouts for Mid-Ohio. The lap time for the Road America seems to actually be for Road Atlanta, per the video the user linked... ;)
