I've been going through my RPO codes, and it turns out that my Cutlass has a THM250-C. I understand that it is a THM-350 without the intermediate clutch pack and with a band adjuster. I'm just wondering if it is any good. Is there anyone here who has experienced this THM-350 variant that I previously hadn't heard of? Thanks.
It's been a few years like decades but I think you are correct. Good? Good for money at the scrappers....
Some shops are building them for drag racers because they're lighter.
Honestly, if it's already out, a TH-350 will probably fit in the hole.
If it's still in the car, drive it until it's shot, then change it.
I got 60,000 miles of autocross and hooning out of the one in my 82 Camaro. A TH350 with the short output shaft is a direct bolt in, but low gear is much taller, so you lose bottom end acceleration.

Where did my response from this am go?
Back in the day's of "F TYPE" auto trans lube it was common to add a qt of 10/30
