Hey guys, I'm pulling the reverse Wally and driving down to FL from my house in MA. I could possibly deliver some stuff if anyone needs anything moved. Just have a Sienna though, so no towing. Let me know if you need anything moved between these locations.

I once knew of a guy who did that run regularly in a minivan with kids on top of a false floor. Of course he was mostly hauling things BACK from Miami.

That's another one I had never heard before. When I worked Charlotte back in the late 90's, I didn't here anyone refer to it that way either. Might be the airline designation?

Yep. One of the busiest in the US, too, with the American hub - pretty it is their biggest hub. CLT=Charlotte Douglass International.

Yeah sorry I fly a lot (or to be precise, used to). If that's not too far out of the way I'd be willing to pay some $ for you to head there and get a transmission for me. I can meet right off I95 in Maryland or at one of the rest stops near the DE border.

How big of a transmission are we talking about? Fwd trans, or RWD trans?

FWD with awd transfer case, VW dsg 02e, not big, just heavy (two person lift), I had one in the trunk of my Jetta and in the minivan with no issues.
