After nearly 60,000 miles and especially after more tire plugs than I feel comfortable with when my wife is towing a horse across several states, it's time to replace the OEM Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts on the 2012 Tahoe tow vehicle.
What've you got out there for recommendations? Like to pick something up before the snow tires come off.
Well I guess the question is, what style of tire do you want? Another AT? Or a highway style tire?
I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the Destination A/T.
Michelin if price is no object. I'm running BF Goodrich Commercial T/A's on my duallie, and they've been fine. When you're shopping for six tires instead of four, price becomes a significant factor.
For 3 season highway use I put General HTS's on the wife's Xterra. I like them a lot since they're way quieter than the all terrain Generals they replaced. Not sure what load rating you'd need though.

Having snow tires at this point, I'm thinking of heading towards a more highway oriented tire.

Michelin LTX
This is all a co-worker puts on his 4runners. He gets long mileage out of them.
I'm on my third set of LTXs on two trucks. They run a long way. My first set on the Dodge were replaced due to age instead of mileage. They were maybe half gone at 35k of heavy towing.
Another very happy LTX owner. I'm at 80k miles on mine and I'm sure I have more than 20k left in them. I'll probably replace them at 100k because they're starting to age out. I love these tires.
Since it's such a small truck, not really the same application, but I had the LTX's on my 2000 Tacoma. Pretty good wear.
On my current truck an 88 Silverado 2500, I have been very happy with a set of General Grabber HTS. They've been on the truck since 2014. Can't give mileage, no odometer, but I'd estimate about 15,000-20,000. I would definitely buy them again.
I've got LTX on both my wife's Range Rover and my beater-ish truck. Very happy with them.
I think LTX's are what my dad has on the Tundra I'm currently borrowing. I know they're Michelins at least. Count me as another vote in favor, I can't think of another "regular use" tire I've been more impressed with.

It seems that LTXs are the concensus here, but there's a lot of good Highway tires out there that have good wear.
Ltx's were the street tire on my rodeo, was happy with there performance in all 4 seasons.
Duelers on my Dodge, I've been happy with them.
