I have to say, it looks pretty damn good:

Spoon Sports' version:

The vid isn't all that compelling, though. It looks a bit slow and a bit heavy (from the in-car footage).

That pic made me like the car a little more.
I read an editorial recently which pointed that with Japan being so green-friendly right now, a lot of Japanese tuners may be developing parts for hybrids mostly to save face, and they probably don't expect to generate a lot of business from them.
Whether or not that's true remains to be seen, I guess. We won't know until the parts are out and people buy them (or don't).
But can it beat my 19 year old CRX around a track?
Its a shame the CR-Z doesn't really compare well in terms of performance with the CRX. The way it looks says it should be a good crx successor.
But.. If the CR-Z is built on the civic platform how long will it take before we see a K-swapped car(It was a great idea with the insight)? Or even a turbo charged hybrid?
yeah, really this couldn't have been merged with yesterdays CR-Z CRX thread? The first link was the subject of that post. The second one is new..
Hey Spoon, does a car that size REALLY need 381mm front discs?
ZOMG lets slam it on coilovers and put huge brakes on it and some rimz, and it will be da bomb.
too bad it's still hideous and slow...
