Turbocharged 6 cylinder

Seen at the cruise-in tonight. Not your usual turbo 6.

The "710" cap is a nice touch too.

Built up Hudson 6. Destroked to make it 265 cu in. Compression ratio is ~7:1. Running 12 lb boost making 190 HP at the wheels.

He says he could run a good bit more boost with the engine internals but is afraid of the head gasket.

Definitely don't see many turbos on flathead engines. Very cool.

Thats a small turbo for a big engine but i bet driveability is very good, excepting the possibility of carb issues.

Im also very curious about what that carb is, as specific as i can get..

Draining and filling the cooling system would take longer than pulling that head off and replacing the gasket.

I think the gentleman who owns this vehicle has a spot here on these boards that he doesn't yet know about.

Tis a shame, he'd fit in well here.

That does not need LS1, an LS1 would melt it's pistons in un-coolnes if parked next to this.
