Finally #7 breaks its curse.
The LMP2 winner Robin Frijns being interviewed: " All these things went wrong, we were having trouble with front downforce..."
Interviewer: " Robin, you've just won the 24!"

You have to be kidding they cut away befor hearing from the winning driver and the presentation of the trophy's.
I just want to say THANK YOU to Motor Trend for streaming the ENTIRE RACE, from before the start, to after the end, on ONE CHANNEL.
No, flipping from one, to another, to a stream, to some subscription only "Gold" something or other, back to a channel, then to radio, then to a stream.....
ONE channel, all the way through, exactly the way it should always be. Thank God.
Glad to see Toyota kept both cars together as did Alpine
I wish Porsche ,Audi,BMW etc would have brought factory teams

The one channel thing was good but you would think after 24 hours the sound crew would have figured out how to turn on that one microphone for the interviews!
I was anoyed that they cut away at 10:30 for the regular tv programming. On the YouTube stream I got to see the interviews and a lot more of the celibrating.

Not sure they had control over that. They were just rebroadcasting the international feed.
Cable package didn't have motor trend tv and didn't feel like signing up for a "free" preview to get it. Lucky YouTube was there to check in as I had a bunch going on this weekend.
There was some behind the scenes drama at Toyota. Looks like they haven't licked their fuel system issue from earlier this year.

Motortrend's trial is indeed free. This is my 2nd or 3rd 7 day trial.
I was watching the Bonus World feed on MotorTrend. One of my favorite moments was soon after the factory 911 that ripped its back bumper/diffuser off was fixed and back running Darren Turner commented that the driver braked very late going into the first chicane on the Mulsanne, Alan McNish chuckled a little and said he was just going to say how early the driver hit the brakes going in. The other commentator laughed and said something like "and that is the difference between a GT driver and a Prototype driver".

That's who I was talking about, it was Eurosport's crew doing the sound.
