Do any aftermarket roll bars fit with a factory hard top?
2002 model year car....

What is the best way to put a limited slip in these? Planet Miata wants a thousand bucks for a limited slip rear end...is there an aftermarket solution that's better?
Car is used mainly for autocorss, not worried about classing....

Shop around for the diff, Planet Miata is always pricey. Try Blake at isellmiataparts.com. I sold my torsen to a friend for $500 and his open diff, which I then sold as an update kit with axles and driveshaft for another $500. Of course I'm running a CTS-V/Getrag diff. now ($2000 give or take) so you'll need to save your axles and shaft if you stick with a stock style diff. housing.

Note that most (maybe all, not sure) of the Bethania Garage roll bar will physically fit with a hard top, but the ones that aren't specifically sold as HT-compatible will probably interfere with the use of the side latches. Many people simply take the side latches off and run without -- it's arguable somewhat less secure and a bit noisier, but it seems to work OK.
This is advantageous because the HT-compatible roll bars achieve this by locating the main hoop further back in the chassis, which means it needs to be an inch or so lower.
