I AM ignorant! I don't know a darned thing about business in Thailand. That was my entire point!
I won't make apologies for being honest that I am not knowledgeable about commerce in a place I've never visited.
I am, however, very knowledgeable about doing business between differing cultures. I have lived in places that looked very similar to the US, but did business very differently under the surface. (How about an island culture that had government import tariffs of 100% on any imported product?). The ONLY way to learn the difference is to ask local people.
