Find a ~100k 03-04 (5k or so) then some reliability, track upgrades (5-7k). You would probably run at spec miata lap times, but do it in a very different way...though I would expect you to be a bit faster at bigger tracks like VIR, COTA, Road America, etc where the Z can stretch its legs.
