Posting on behalf of a friend on another forum who found this, but has no idea what it is. It has stumped the experts on that site, so I thought I'd start by asking a different group of experts.
Rear portion is definitely homemade. I'd like to see the front. Kinda looks similar to a Kellison.

I googled "bad gt40 kit car" and didn't find anything like that. Maybe I should try "terrible gt40 kit car" or "horrible Ferrari kit car"

There may be better photos if you google 1967 Daren Mk 1.
Looks like it's made out of metal.
Gives it a bit more of an excuse for looking a bit strange then the various fiberglass cars like this.

Where is this thing? The flora makes me think its in some banana republic like Cuba. If its metal, I bet its worth a bit.
On the tentenths forum, the car was sold to Singapore. I would hazard a guess that's where the picture was taken, or somewhere else in southeast Asia.
