Yeah, I know that having to race against guys with built drag racing automatics is a bit turnoff for a lot of sports car and import guys with manuals.
While everyone in their "street" class top 10 last year had a muscle car or pony car (except the winner, who drove a jeep), any manual transmission car is welcome as long as it runs 17.50 or quicker, so this would be a great opportunity to have some fun in a competitive environment on the dragstrip with the majority of the cars on this forum.
I'll keep an eye on their schedule for next year.
one of our customers has a maverick he runs in the series. big block and a jericho. runs 9.20s all out 
he just started building a fairlane he plans to run faster and keep it streetable.

Oh yeah? My trans has SIX clutches in it, not counting the one in the torque converter!
