The elusive invisable car?
In reply to nutherjrfan :
Cal BMW moto in Mountain View ca has some vanderhalls in stock. Around the corner from my work - I need to go for a test drive
First gen viper with the cloth roof, the newest gen Prelude, two Mazda B series pre-ranger pickups and a late 90s-early 00's Dodge Ram 15 passenger van.
Saw one of these this morning, couldn't get a picture but it was this
I thought they were California only? (I'm in North Florida, almost as far from Cali literally and figuratively as you can get)

My sister has one. It's a decent driving car, and somewhat fun. If it is the future, it's not all bad. The inside looks like something out of Star Trek.
Also, I need to get a picture, but a co-worker drives a 2nd gen Viper to work everyday. He commented this morning that he's put 20k miles on it this year alone.
Not the car, necessarily, but the combination of Rostyle wheels on a beat Hyundai. Who needs more than 3 lug nuts anyway?
In reply to cdeforrest :
MG Midget Rostyles are 4X4", not 4X100mm, and with taper seats at that. the 4th stud probably broke off

DOOOOOD! That was my event. Why did I not put 2 + 2 together and know you were on here? That's the Manic Miata in the background of the lower pic.
What were you driving?
I was there in a gray E30 sedan that day, my first event with you guys. I've since sold the car, but it was fun to drive the wheels off a nearly stock 318i. My good friend Randall Ball who drives a red Focus ST invited me down. You guys put on a good event!
As a palate cleanser I wish I could have snapped the pic but in Capitola, Ca yesterday i spotted a gentleman in a cowboy hat driving a full scale version of this. Slicks, cage, livery and all.
There was a pristine looking Dodge Shadow in front of me the other night. No visible rust and the clear coat was intact.... I thought for sure they all came out of the factory with peeling clear.
There were a ton of them around for a hot minute when I was in high school (18+ years ago) but I though they all had returned to earth here in eastern PA.
They also look weirdly better than I remember them looking way back when.
Considering the neighborhood I suspect that is a real lancia. The other one i think is a extremely early thing. Not 100 percent sure on that as I was driving. Definitly wwII vintage vehicle. Maybe earlier. There was a tire mounted to the hood.
