Is it possible to find a higher mileage turbo Cobalt these days for under 10k? Ideal mileage range is between 40k and 70k.
Cobalt SSs run in the $24kish range new, turbos have only been out for maybe 3 years, that'd be some pretty serious depreciation. I doubt you'd find anything that cheap that wasn't a salvage title or just absolutely beat to death.
Oh, and 40-70k is NOT "higher mileage". Unless the odo only shows 5 digits and it's turned over at least once, hahaha.
There's a supercharged 2006 cobalt SS coupe around the corner from me for $9000cdn - not sure of the mileage....

This search took about 15 seconds with Craiglook.com and there seem to be piles of them where I live.
Edit: None of the others are quite that cheap though, so be careful. I think you could get a blower Cobalt SS for 10k pretty easy, not sure which I'd prefer.
