apparently changing to better tires help handling tremendously.
It also kills fuel economy tremendously.
Yeah, i would sure hate to still get better mileage than 99% of everything just because i wanted to have a little fun!
My Prius is still showing 20-something mpg at ~95mph. You can't really make the mpg bad.
Skittering around is fun.
This is why I drive on snow tires year round. They don't have much dry grip but are very predictable. And they make the most hilarious noises.

There is a some "smokingtire" I think is what it is called YouTube show that has a modified Prius. It is still pretty sad in comparison to other more fun cars but might be worth checking out. There is some rain dance to turn off some of the factory nannies apparently too.
If you want to get more serious I would look into lithium ion battery swap and increasing amperage and capactiy... maybe using the e motor only. Maybe a heavier rated "controller" would let it happen

It's here! It doesn't have dealer markings anymore. Just GRM glory!
So...floor mats will happen sooner than later. Pointing the headlights anywhere but straight down helped too (they were seriously aimed down; only a car length of light came out).

Damn, people around here getting Prii and Overpowered Minivans and highly depreciated 'super'-sedans all at once is making me feel like my opinions are... popular? Weird.

I don't feel too bad bumping this thread because PRIUS!
I have WeatherTech digital floor mats arriving Monday. The stock ones suck and these look like they're worth the expense.
Also, I bought this cheap Wifi OBDII dongle and the $20 pro upgrade to Carista and disabled the backup beeping, the seat belt beeping, and the "you just touched the door handle" beeping. I also enabled "chivalry mode" (unlock all doors when you open the car).
Regarding the incessant beeping which is now (thankfully) disabled: I know the car is in reverse. I put it in reverse. The car is moving backwards and has a backup camera. I don't need a BEEP BEEP BEEP reminder! Also, I know the door just unlocked because I heard it unlock and saw the lights turn on. Also, I'm HOLDING IT. I don't need a beep to help me find my lost car because I'm literally touching it. Apparently if I ever get a manpurse, I'll be happy that it won't trigger the passenger seat belt alarm too.
P.S.: at the risk of this turning into "pimp my Prius," does anyone know if there are quality aftermarket replacements for the "blue gradient" behind the Toyota emblems? I know I can yank it out, wrap it in vinyl, and call it a day but I want a subtle red into black gradient, not just a red logo. I'm sure this has been done somewhere.
