S63 or S65

It would take a massive amount of surgery. The m275 is very wide, especially with the location of the turbos. I will try and get some pics of the m275 next to a SBC at some point to give an idea of scale.
My neighbor has two Alpina B7. One green and one blue. His wife has the last body, and he has the newest B7. Gorgeous cars.
I love the B7 for its rarity, even in this geography. Although I see a lot of S63/S65 during th week, my heart still goes for a S8/A8L V12, or a S63/S65. The quad pipes aren't that understated, which I like. The B7 is for people who REALLY know, which has its cool factor as well.
Can't go wrong with any of them. Something like that will hopefully replace our Ls600hL soon enough
In reply to Cotton :
Well, I just traded out my 2013 C63 amg for a 2013 M5. Man it is an excellent change. I didn't have it on my radar as I was looking at the panamera and the S7, but the rear seat headroom killed it for me. I would have gone S6, but for about the same money I found the M5, and with twin turmbos, it's stock at 560 HP and I really like the creature comforts it provides.

That's not what I want to hear lol
The CL600 sold a few months back, so I'm really on the hunt for a new DD. The current front runner is a newish c63s coupe.
Something like this:
Finally pulled the trigger on a new dd. Looked at so many different cars, front runners were 2011plus CL63, 2014 plus S63, and Continental GT. I came VERY close to a Continental GT, but ultimately found a very nice 2011 CL63 with 40k miles and under extended warranty. The warranty is an Ally major guard good for 40k more miles or until 9/23, whichever comes first. It's black on black, like my old CL and loaded with options. It's coming out of CA, so pictures once it lands here in TN. So I basically bought the same thing as my old car, but newer, with a lot less miles, and 4 less cylinders. I plan to do a baseline dyno soon and will keep the thread updated with the ownership experience.
Looks just like this:
I currently DD the 4 door version of that. (2012 Biturbo cls550). Mine is a 4matic because of the snow around here. I have had mine for more than a year and the acceleration and handeling just does not get old.
You will need to budget for tires. These are heavy cars that handle remarkably well. But at the expense of tire ware and you are going to want big sticky tires on it.
Welcome to the club. These are very under appreciated cars that most people really don't realize just how fast they are. I have had many passengers emit many explitivs with only half throttle pulls. Yours being an AMG and a two door will make it that much more fun.
